A history of Vega Global
Vega Technology Group is a global solution provider in audio visual and IT communications. Established in Hong Kong in 1986, Vega began life as a regional distributor for audio visual technology. Rapidly becoming a key distribution agency for international manufacturers. Building on this experience, Vega soon added consultancy, engineering and support services to its technology portfolio in order to provide a comprehensive solution resource. This initiative was eagerly welcomed by customers and as a result, Vega became a leader in the design, implementation, and support of converged video-conferencing and audio visual solutions.
By 1999, Vega had further broadened its operational capabilities by establishing a state-of-the-art Technology R&D and Manufacturing centre. As a result The Vega Technology Group now provides high-quality OEM production facilities for many of the World’s leading AV technology brands.
As a result, Vega Europe continued to drive the adoption and usage of emerging communications technologies and expanded its portfolio of products, services, and solutions.
